We tried to drag Nat out camping, but she claimed she had "too much stuff on her list..."
Not to be deterred, Sam and I drove out to the VA/WVA state line and camped at Trout Pond, just inside the W. Va border. The next morning we hiked the 4 mi. Hill Mountain trail to Big Schloss, a scenic rock outcropping inside the George Washington National Forest.
